We established RMI because of a great vision the Lord placed upon our hearts. There are many wonderful mission organizations in exsitence but alone none have the ability to reach the last 2/3 of the worlds population. God placed this assignment into the hands of the church; His body. There are currently 7 billion people in the world, 2/3 of them have yet to be reached. Did you know there are people in your own town that have never heard the gospel? The lost aren't only off in third world countries, they are everywhere. Our mission field is the entire earth (Go ye into all the world, and preach the good news to everyone. Mark 16:15. KJV) There are literally millions of people that have heard the bad news "mans religion" (Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the traditions of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. Colossians 2:8 KJV). It's time they know the truth. In the epistles Paul writes to the Galatians "O foolish Galatians who hath bewitched you, that you should not obey the truth, before who's eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?" Without a sure foundation we can get off drastically. As human beings we tend to complicate the gospel ( But I am afraid that your minds will be led away from you true and pure following of Christ. This could happen just as Eve was tricked by that snake with his clever lies. 2 Corinthians 11:3 E2RV). It's time to bring back the simplicity that is the gospel.
It is our mission to equip and send those called into the mission field, which is every believer. Your mission field may be your family, your friends, the people around you or it may be like ours in foreign lands. My particular calling is vocational and geographical. Europe is my predominant mission field while my husband is called to go. Everyone is different and every call is different. Our mission isn't a solo mission RMI is able to help others called into the world to build disciples. While we believe strongly in evangelizing our focus is on making disciples. Without a strong foundation on ones belief it is easy to be pulled away by the subtle waves of religion. Not only do we want souls saved, we want them to know God, to know the gospel. It is only then that we as believers are unshakable, established and un-moveable.
